The Biggest Poker Events to Cap off 2013!

World Series of Poker 2013

This event started in May 29th and in July 15th the main event took place in Paradise, Nevada specifically at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino. The WSOP 2013 had a total of 62 bracelets to be won. While there are other events under the WSOP, the most anticipated according to many online video poker reviews was of course the championship round with over 6,300 participants. This created a prize pool of more than $59,700,000 (approx. £38,879,863.80) with the winner earning $8,359,531 (equivalent to £5,445,590.76), an inspirational amount to those wishing to earn a video poker bonus. The top 9 in the main event will return on November 4th for the November Nine tournament.

WSOP 2013 Event #47

Dubbed as the One Drop High Rollers No Limit Hold’em, this four-day event kick-started in June 26th with a total number of entries of 166. This is an exciting event just like the main event in WSOP with the second highest payout offered in the whole tournament. It is the 13th highest in payouts in the whole history of poker tournaments around the globe with over $17,890,000 (over £11,6509,34.06) worth of prizes. The first place was grabbed by Anthony Gregg who brought home a total of $4,830,619 (equivalent to £3,146,776.32).
